Today’s highlight was the sacred Thirumurai Parayanam, honoring the legendary Samaya Kuravargal — four great Tamil Shaivite saints who revived Shaivism through their powerful Thevaram hymns between the 4th and 6th centuries CE. Amidst a time of rich spiritual diversity in South India, their devotion and poetry helped shape Tamil religious culture.
Today, the Thevaram hymns were recited as part of the continuing tradition of devotion and remembrance.
