Mannankulam Organics brings you the finest selection of organic produce straight from the heart of Sri Lanka’s east coast to your table. Grown and cultivated on nutrient-rich soil, every crop prioritises biodiversity to produce the highest quality organic crops. From farm to fork, we uphold the highest standards of quality and freshness, carefully selecting each product to deliver exceptionally pure flavour, nutrition, and purity.
Everything product is produced on our property so that we can be sure of the quality.
We prioritise sustainability, health, and environmental stewardship in everything we do. Our commitment to organic farming and regenerative agricultural practices ensures that our fruits, vegetables, grains, and herbs are grown without synthetic pesticides preserving the integrity of the land and the health of our planet.
We are registered and approved by the Coconut Development Authority of Sri Lanka to produce coconut oil. In addition, the property has organic certification that complies with Sri Lanka Standards and certified by Control Union.
Regenerative Farming
Did you know that agriculture accounts for a third of global carbon emissions? Therefore it is essential we look at ways of reducing these emissions as well a bringing back the health of the soil and the micro-habitats underneath. We are experimenting with traditional farming methods, organic prinicples, heirloom varieties as well as new scientific research to see how we can achieve lower emissions as well restore the environment’s health.
Pure Virgin Coconut Oil
The virgin cold pressed oil is made from the flesh of fresh coconuts that have been dried at at temperatures that do not exceed 50°C and then pressed under high pressure to extract this extremly pure oil. This process preserves the long molecular chain structure and provide maximum health benefits.
Our traditional handmade white coconut oil is made from the fresh coconut milk that is then heated until all the moisture evaporates.This process results in an oil that has an exceptional flavour and aroma.
Heirloom Rice
Mannankulam’s organic heirloom rice is cultivated along Sri Lanka’s east coast, and a testament to the region’s rich agricultural heritage. Grown on the fertile soil of our estate in Akkaraipattu, our heirloom rice fields thrive under warm tropical sun and monsoon rains. Our rice embodies the purity and authenticity of traditional farming methods passed down through generations.
