Welcome our villa, a stunning testament to history that dates back to the Dutch administrators of the early 18th century. With its beautifully preserved ironmongery on original doors and windows, this enchanting property offers a glimpse into a bygone era. Situated on Lady Manning Drive, directly across from the majestic Dutch Fort—built in the late 17th century—our villa stands as a witness to the vibrant past of trade between the Dutch and the Kandyan kingdom.

The Rooms

The house comprises two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom, and a family suite with an attached bathroom. There has been minimal intervention to the building with only the conversion of two spaces to bathrooms.

Dining

The cuisine here is a celebration of aromatic spices, fresh catch from the lagoon, and tropical ingredients. The Batticaloa mud crab is famous the world over and we offer a taste of authentic Batticaloa cuisine made from old traditional family recipes that we will happily share with you.
